APAPA advocates for our diverse communities to promote inclusion and empowerment. We ensure our collective voices are heard on important issues such as voting rights, public safety, resources, and education. Each year, we lead and organize Legislative Advocacy Days with 50+ nationwide partners.

With grassroots support through a growing number of leaders and student interns, APAPA set out to engage voters, partner with the community, and develop emerging API leaders. APAPA also engages the community through cultural events and programs to honor the many positive contributions of community.

2024年9月18日 · - At a time when many nonprofit organizations and businesses are tightening their belt due to an uncertain economy, the Asian Pacific American Public Affairs Association (APAPA) is fortunate to announce the expansion of its headquarters team in Sacramento. APAPA’s recent hires include two legislative staffers from the California State Assembly.

APAPA chapter leaders from across the country will travel to our nation’s capitol to support issues and legislation which are important to our AANHPI communities, including education, immigration, resources to fight hate crimes, and more.

APAPA Chapters offer summer placements in-person with legislators and public officials across the country. Interns will be placed in one of the 100+ office placements around the Country, hosted by our Chapters.
