What makes an "anime" game, exactly? : r/Fighters - Reddit
2015年1月20日 · The anime style character design is a big part of it, but the term "anime fighter" is more used to describe a game with double jumps, airdashing, and large flashy combos, like Blazblue, P4A, and Guilty Gear (it also doesn't hurt that those are all made by the same people). Many people consider Skullgirls an anime fighter as well.
What are the top Anime fighters in your opinion? : r/Fighters
2020年8月5日 · In fighting game terminology, "anime fighter" does not mean "anime aesthetics." MvC2 is anime as fuck while GBFV is not anime at all. A better moniker would be "airdashers," since air mobility is one of the defining characteristics. You could make a case for UNI but it's really sitting on the line.

2023年8月1日 · This would be my pick. It's complex and hard at high level but really accessible and easy to get into. Controls and movement feel great. It's a bit more grounded Street Fighter-y in neutral than your average anime fighter but has everything else. Most importantly, the tutorials and combo trials (actually practical stuff you do in matches) are ...

2020年8月12日 · Ironically, I hear a lot of street fighter casuals that hate “anime fighters.” No hate against street fighter as a series, but news to the street fighter fans; street fighter IS an anime fighter; it references JoJo’s Bizarre adventures and Ryu and Ken are not the first ki-wielding martial artists, and its art style is pretty anime (look ...
A question about the differences of "traditional" vs "anime
2021年3月6日 · MVC is an anime fighter by mechanics, some would argue, because of the artstyle choice, it (the artstyle) does not make it a anime fighter, but idk man, making your game look like a comic book, which is basically a western manga, is pretty damn close lmao. Darkstalkers/vampire savior. is an anime game yes.
After many tries, I think maybe Anime Fighters just aren't for
2022年8月18日 · Granblue: People have run tournaments on this with SF and anime fighter players because it's a pretty good middle ground. It leans perhaps slightly more towards SF. Left/right mixups are non-existent due to a block button. Unfortunately, the netcode is trash. Punch Planet: Very close to SF in pace.
What even is an anime fighter? : r/Fighters - Reddit
Anime was an umbrella term in the west to talk about things that are not Street Fighter, Tekken/3D fighter, Marvel, or Mortal Kombat. Those were the top games in the west since forever. Most of the emerging underground fighters around 2005-2010 had 2D anime aesthetics with unconventional ideas.
4-Buttons VS. 6-Buttons : r/Fighters - Reddit
6 overall. Some anime games maybe 4. I actually really like Strive's system which to me feels more like 5 button with dust included. With anime games I need more room for dash button and system mechanics, they're too fast to not have macros bound.

There are two new titles releasing soon, Granblue Versus Rising and a new UNI game. From what I’ve seen, Granblue plays a lot more like strive, and UNI plays more like traditional anime fighters. Guilty Gear +R is an older, yet very fun anime fighter. The barrier for entry is a lot higher, but it has some of the deepest mechanics in all of ...
