The AIS Vienna curriculum is based on the American system with an international flavor. In the Elementary and Middle Schools, the curriculum ensures that all students learn a coherent and unified body of knowledge and academic skills.

AIS Vienna is governed by a 10-member Executive Board, eight of whom are elected by the Parents' Association that sponsors the School, one who is appointed by the U.S. Ambassador, and the Director (ex-officio).

The American International School Vienna (AIS Vienna) offers a bus service for students to get to and from school. We use one of Vienna’s premier bus companies ‘Blaguss’ to provide this service.
