The original Alpha Legion iconography (in Slaves to Darkness) was a yellow alpha (minuscule, and turned 90 degrees so that the "prongs" are pointing upwards) on a green field. Red is the tertiary colour, seen in flames, borders, etc.

The title page for the section on Alpha Legion has a symbol with 3 skulls, each inscribed with a symbol. In the middle is an Alpha sign - Alpharius. Then on the left is Omega - Omegon.
