He is now the head of Advanced Intelligent Robotics Lab in IPAB and his research focuses on a variety of control technologies involving robust control, optimisation and machine learning for solving challenging problems in dynamic motion control (manipulation, grasping, locomotion), and complex behaviours of mobile and legged robots.

Professor Li received his B. S. in polymer chemistry at Jilin University, China, his M. S. and Ph. D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. He was a postdoctoral director fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he later became a Technical Staff Member before joining the faculty at WSU in 2000.

I'm a final year PhD student in the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University. I'm advised by Deepak Pathak, and my work is supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Previously, I was an electrical engineering and computer science major at UC Berkeley, where I received my BS and MS.

Alex's work focuses on building a sustainable future. Currently he is at Tesla Shanghai, developing LFP batteries for the next generation of electric vehicles. He is also the co-founder of the U.S.-China Climate Forum, organizing Track 2 dialogues for climate collaboration.

Care Health Plan since 2017, is credited with improving efficiency and performance, while leading teams through the various state and federal accreditation processes.

Alex Li is a biopharma industry veteran. He has contributed to the success of several Multiple Sclerosis medicines, including Avonex, Plegridy, Tysabri, Vumerity and Ocrevus with two decades research experience in Biogen.
