Alan Ciner (born May 14, 1947) is an American guitarist best known for playing guitar for The American Breed from 1966 to 1970.

The original members of the group included Gary Loizzo (vocals and guitar), Charles "Chuck" Colbert, Jr. (bass guitar and vocals), Al Ciner (guitar and vocals), and Jim Michalak (drums). [1]

Al Ciner joined Three Dog Night as a guitarist in 1975, contributing to both live performances and studio recordings during his short tenure. He played on the album American Pastime (1976), where his guitar work added a new dimension to the band’s sound.
