The Aimpoint 5000 remains round all the way up to the sight adjustment knob platform. After enlarging the photos taken in Mogadishu, I determined the Aimpoint 5000 was the optic used by most operators.

2024年12月25日 · The issue is the growing move to "enclosed" type optics. Having the mounting screws in a center position for the mount is not conducive to that type of design because the screws can't go through the enclosure area (other than the RCR's Rube Goldberg solution).

2010年5月27日 · Re: Eotech VS Aimpoint Comp Models and Acog It all boils down to what you're going to use the optics for. I own both an Aimpoint M2 and an ACOG TA01NSN and love them. You won't be disappointed in them. I'm not a huge EoTech guy unless I'm only doing CQB.

2014年3月15日 · That said, Primary Arms has an excellent reputation and has made some great quality budget optics in the past. If this is going to be going on your home defense weapon, the Aimpoint would be a better choice simply because its got a more proven track record and there is no auto shut off feature. The Primary Arms red dot will shut off after 8 hours.
