Admirals’ Inn and Gunpowder Suites is set in four historic buildings dating from the 18th century housing 23 rooms and suites in a secluded section of historic Nelson’s Dockyard at English Harbour on the south coast of Antigua.

During peak periods (RORC, Classic Week, Race Week, Antigua Yacht Charter Show, Christmas and New Year) a deposit equal to the full stay is required and 60 days notice of cancellation is required for refund of deposit.

STANDARD ROOMS WITH HARBOUR VIEW Three rooms are on the top floor of the main building which dates from 1788. These rooms are built under mansard roof with one sloping wall and feature a harbour view.

We have 2 restaurants, Pillars and Boom. At Pillars, named after the 18th century pillars lining the outdoor terrace, we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We serve all meals on a la carte basis, with a varied selection of items. Our tree-shaded terrace is a delightful place to sit and dine, looking out over the water.

These spacious air-conditioned junior suites are located on the 2 acre headland 100 yards across the water from the main hotel. Some of the suites are attached to a beautifully restored 18th-century gunpowder store and some are in 2 bedroom cottages.

Three rooms are located on the first (not ground) floor of the main brick and timber building which dates from 1788. They feature a harbour view, 1 king size or 2 twin beds and very recently remodeled private bathrooms with showers.

These spacious air-conditioned suites are located in the beautifully restored Joiner’s Loft and feature wooden décor, 1 king size or 2 twin beds, a spacious separate sitting area with pull out queen couch and spectacular views over Nelson’s Dockyard and the bay.
