I know it’s a cheap shot, but with all the criticism of how the monsters were animated in GxK there’s definitely some irony in the fact the shot from the Minus One trailer that impacted Wingard so much he immediately wanted to add a similar shot to GxK was one that actually emphasises the weight of Godzilla, like until then he genuinely forgot that was a thing.
