ACE is the only major higher education association to represent all types of U.S. accredited, degree-granting colleges and universities. Our members educate two out of every three students in all accredited, degree-granting U.S. institutions.

The ACE Military Guide supports academic institutions in awarding college credit to military-connected learners based on their military training and occupations. Through a Departm ent of Defense (DoD ) contract for the U.S. Armed Services, ACE is the sole source of information for courses and occupations evaluated for the military.

ACE has partnered with Credential Engine to integrate ACE’s extensive database of college credit recommendations with the nonprofit’s Credential Registry to lead more people seeking higher ed and career opportunities to the most successful pathway.

ACE brings together independent teams of subject-matter experts from the faculties of accredited colleges and universities to evaluate the courses and exams listed in the National Guide. Our faculty evaluators are experienced teachers and researchers from all accrediting regions.
