Sep 29, 2020 · Except AA11 was a 3-cabin aircraft and F/J took up a larger portion of the aircraft than say J on a US 762. Hot Meals were definitely still a thing pre 9/11 (and actually post 9/11 as well, they really went away around 2004/2005). Pre-9/11 essentially all US/UA/AA flights had a full tray service in Economy during meal time hours.

Aug 7, 2002 · AA11 came down over Manhattan and flew directly into the towers from the north. UA175 also came from the north but flew parallel to Manhattan and to the west, then circling around sharply and finally back into the towers from the south.

Kind of reminds me of how actor Mark Wahlberg and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane were supposed to be on AA11, but the former canceled at the last minute, and the latter took a nap at a BOS lounge due to a hangover, missed the flight, and woke up after it had hit the North Tower.
