If you can hit one ranged headshot consistently the AUG will beat the SCAR by virtue of shooting faster, and outperforms up close by virtue of shooting faster, however, I just can't recommend it due to how slow the reload is.

It also has 680 rpm, which is a little slow for assault rifles, but it is still fine. Another unique trait of the AUG A1 is its integrated 4x default zoomed scope.
