We found that the expression of ATP1B1 can inhibit viral replication and increase the levels of IFNs, IFN-stimulated genes, and inflammatory cytokines.

Our first main finding is that ATP1B1 is more strongly expressed in CN-AML than normal BM (Figure 1A and 1B), which suggests ATP1B1 plays an active role during the pathogenesis of leukemia. The higher ATP1B1 expression was easily detected using qPCR, which is readily applicable for clinical use.
