I frequently check my local Microcenter for stock on GPUs in the $500-$700 range and almost all of it is just 3070 TIs (and one 6800 non-XT for $499).

I'm also only using around 1750 fan speed RPM, (around 17% fan speed on radeon software settings), when 15% is the bare minimum fan speed, meaning that you can't go lower than that.

Jul 31, 2023 · im using an rx 6600 and ryzen 5 5500 and no issues with quest 2. Obviously im not running max graphics and resolution but it 100% runs the games with no stutters or drops below 72hz. i even got 90hz running on alyx but i lowered to 72hz and increased resolution

Jan 17, 2022 · 6600 is valid with an I5-10400 for basic vr gaming when using the quest 2 with a link cable, only vr head set I own sadly, and Im also aware Im 6 months late, but Im writing this to bluntly say that the RX 6600 is VR compatible, and is better than a 1050-ti for anyone in the future that may have these or similar to these questions like I did.
