This section contains information on the installation and wiring of the AES 7762 Hardware Supervisor with the AES 7794 IntelliPro. This configuration provides power and supervision for the 7740 Local Trouble Annunciator as well as monitoring of the 7794 IntelliPro.

Connections from the FACP are provided in the following instructions: Connect the FACP Dialer 2 TIP and RING to the PSTN (Public Switching Telephone Network). Connect the FACP Dialer 1 TIP and RING to the 7794A terminal block labeled AP TIP RING. Wire the Zones of the FACP (Alarm, Trouble, Supervision) into the 7707 as shown above in Figure 8.

Refer to the wiring diagram for connection details, as well as for routing the battery, enclosure mounted antenna, and the transceiver control cable. Leave a minimum of 1⁄4 inch of spacing between non-power limited (battery wiring) and power limited wiring as shown in the photo below and in the diagram below.

AES REFRIGERATION WIRING AES controlled refrigerators provide the user with two options: Set the refrigerators to AES. This will automatically select the best available energy source moving from one fuel to another as different fuels become available and/or are removed. Set the refrigerator to run on LPG continually.

It is important to verify that a location is suitable before deciding on the antenna used and mounting the subscriber enclosure. A check of the location can be done with the AES Network Connectivity Tool (NCT). The AES NCT provides a quick means for verifying NetCon or finding suitable locations for subscriber installation.

Make a visual check of the high voltage wire for any defects or broken insulation on the wire that could allow the high voltage to go to ground. Also, check the wire that has been disconnected at each end for continuity.

Terminate wires and connect the AES Model 7740 Local Annunciator, as shown in the following diagram. The 7740 is powered and supervised by the AES Model 7707 Subscriber.
