2020年10月7日 · Hybrid sights allow the user to switch between an ACOG style of scope and a red dot style of scope but typically don't count towards iron sights, red dot, holographic, or ACOG challenges as they are a distinct type of optic already. What this means is that you will be unable to identify an ACOG sight by name alone.

I'm in the market for a 4x32 ACOG RCO for my 223/556 AR with 16" barrel, and I would love to purchase a quality Trijicon optic but I recently saw this clone on Facebook. Does anyone have experience with this or another non Trijicon ACOG style optics? Looking for suggestions, and want to hear your experiences good or bad! Thanks in advance

I have defended the T-2, then the EOTech. Then the EOTECH with a magnifier. then the T-2 with a magnifier, then about a half dozen LPVO’s, then LPVO’s with offset dots… and for now, here is where I am… the ACOG with a top mounted (or even 45 offset) dot, is the perfect optic for a General Purpose carbine.

It seem that maybe the mounting system has lost some integrity due to the optic not being as centered as stock. The KRAM is 7.0mm. The rear sight is KAC micro. As you can see it just clears the buis. One slot back and the bottom of the acog will hit the barrel of the sight and the bottom of the Kram spacer will hit the front of the buis.

ACOG has shit eye relief so using with my Wendy helmet with out nvg goggles installed the NVG shroud mount still hits the ACOG while shooting prone or other on the ground positions. I still push up my helmet at times prior to shooting and even adjust the helmet harness but the fucking ACOG hits the helmet/shroud.

There's a lot of versions of the acog, but a lot of them don't use a battery at all. The TA31 for example is illuminated by the fiber optic for daylight conditions and tritium in darkness. No switching necessary; there's no way to turn off radioactive decay.

Shot 60 rounds through my new ta02. All the sudden the optic got dark and I started hitting the neighbors target. Took it off to see and noticed the whole prism inside shifted. Bummer Update, got it touch with trijicon, they're sending me a prepaid label …

2024年6月6日 · Ordinarily I would agree that training is the most important thing, but like, there’s no amount of training that’s gonna make it any less stupid to throw a 4x prism optic with a BDC calibrated for 5.56 onto a gun shooting .300 subs with a max effective range of like 200 yards.
