Dec 27, 2024 · But the 6mm ARC will handle heavier bullets with much higher BC, and still fit the magazine, which is what it was designed for. Heavy match bullets with much higher BCs are much better in the wind than 90 gr bullets. The wind is much more difficult than trajectory. My vote is for the 6mm ARC it suits my needs, better with 107, & 108, gr bullets.

Now you have a $1500 rifle that is a custom action and barrel. I would not get hung up on tikka ctr mags. Magpul mdt and many others are making very nice aics mags.

Mar 24, 2024 · I have the same rifle and am seeing a little over 1 MOA with 108 gr Hornady ELDM and 105 gr Hornady Black. 2543 FPS with Hornady Black and 2547 FPS with ELDM. Geissele informed me this rifle has a 1/7.5 twist rate. So far I only have 180 rounds down range but it’s been consistent and no issues even without cleaning thus far.

Jan 2, 2025 · Bartlein, if you can wait for it. I had a Noveske 14.5" that didn't group well. I currently have 18" and 20" Proofs that shoot 1/2" five-round groups at 100 yards, but their barrel extensions were undersized and had to be bedded into the upper receiver.
