2021年12月27日 · My 6.5 PRC with 20" barrel and suppressor will move a 160 gr. Matrix VLD at 2,950 fps using RL26. I went the other direction with my 270 WSM, choosing a light 125 gr. monometal bullet. Still doing load development, but moving the copper along at 3,400 fps - depending on powder. For commercial staying power, my nod goes to the 6.5 PRC.

2019年8月2日 · So far Hornady is the only 6.5 PRC ammo producer. (But then it's their brainchild so having only 147 gr, ELD-M (Match) and 143 ELD-X (Precision Hunter) ammo available is to be expected I guess. When I get some Redding Precision dies I'll try their new 153 gr. A-Tip bullets.

2019年10月20日 · I have no data yet as I just received my new custom 6.5 PRC last week. I have ADG brass and they have a disclaimer on their website about starting loads. Everything I've read about the ADG is as of now it's the best PRC brass in the market. See ADG website about the disclaimer and starting loads. Also on Creedmoor Sports.

2019年1月12日 · I do not know when I last saw 264 Win Loaded ammo but the brass is in stock more often than PRC. Sadly with 6.5 being the trendy thing in competition shooting and in hunting all of your 6.5 cartridges other than Remington 260 are always boom and bust in terms of brass.

2024年7月21日 · 22" 300 PRCs also with that factory ELDx 212 just at 2800 fps. Started at 2742 and sped up to 2800. For a data point at least. The factory Norma bond strike ammo out of this same gun and the same 180gr bullets the WSM ammo has.. was at 3070. Under an inch 5 round groups also. So shooting the same bullet at just 40 fps less then the 300wsm..
