Looked at the network adaptors and tried to find the 802.11n mode to see if it was disabled, but there was no option there with that label. Instead I found AdHoc11n and enabled that and restarted my PC. No avail.

2020年11月12日 · Also the same issue with me too. I use a range extender that has a 2.4g and 5g channel and my series x refuses to connect to the 5g channel. It tells me it cant get and ip address from it when I try and connect it. Connecting to the 2.4g channel works fine though. I've reset my router and xbox multiple times now and nothing has changed.

2021年6月19日 · This is the answer. You are exactly right you have to change your setting on your 5G in your router to 40 MHz or greater. Restart your router, then go in to the Xbox to advance settings and clear the DNS and restart your Xbox. When you go to set up your connection again it should show 5G. This is what worked for me.
