2008年5月29日 · 555th was one of the pioneers of bending jigs. Many of the commercially available jigs are based on his design. So I would say Ya, it works :smile: His plans are available in the gunco library, if you don't already have them.

2013年3月30日 · I've seen a lot of DIY flat bending jigs, but only found one that had dimensions on it. The 555th jig has a print online that I printed out, but I'm wondering if someone here has some better plans, or different plans on how to make your own flat bending jig? Has anyone done this with any success?

2011年1月14日 · If you want to go with a full form to bend with check out the 555th jig. Like I mentioned it comes apart easily. The final inside dimension on the bent flat should be 1.25.

2011年12月29日 · Im starting my first AK build from a romy reciever flat and I think Im going to make my own jig. I dont know how well its going to work but it will be a fun ecperiance. 2016年1月14日 · 555ths jig plans are for std 1mm receivers. 555th is a gunco member and the plans were originally uploaded to the gunco library over 10 years ago. Anywhere else that you see them is a copy.

2007年9月4日 · Does anyone have blueprints to make a bending jig for Romanians? It seems much easier to make one than buy one. This is the one that I bent my flats on. It is the original 555th jig. Now there are other jigs out there. If you are only doing a flat or two you might want to look for the "poor man's jig". That is perfect. Thanks.

2007年1月4日 · Here are a couple of photos from the rear. The jig I used is a version of the 555th jig. The flats are the AK Builder economy flats. The left side is not vertical. It splays out a little bit. Although the left side appears to have a bow in the photos, it doesn't. It is straight, it just isn't vertical like the right side.
