2019年11月8日 · Members who wish to live out patriotism together can join “the Fourth Degree.” Members of this degree have the special honor of holding the title “Sir Knight,” participating in color and honor guards and organizing programs that promote Catholic citizenship.

The Fourth Degree is often known as ‘The Patriotic Degree’. It was established in New York on 22 February, 1900. The goals of the Fourth Degree may be summarized as the promotion of the ideals of Catholicism and Patriotism side by side.

Join the Fourth Degree. If you are over 18 years of age; a citizen of the country in which you reside; a practical Catholic in union with the Holy See; and you are a Third Degree member in good standing, it’s time to consider joining the ranks of the Fourth Degree.

The Fourth Degree, often known as the “Patriotic Degree,” is where our love for our faith meets our love for our nation. It’s not merely an extension of our membership; it’s a chance to actively live out the enduring values that bind our Church, families, and communities together.

The Knights of Columbus have an additional order that is associated with multiple councils, referred to as the "4th Degree" which is the Patriotic Order of the Knights.

In 2020, the Supreme Council combined the First, Second and Third Degree ceremonies into a single ceremony called the 'Exemplification of Charity, Unity and Fraternity'. Supreme has now released a NEW Fourth Degree Exemplification just this year!
