2018年1月25日 · The bolt face is the face of the bolt....the front end that supports the case head. In this case they're saying that the case head for the 300 NM is the same as the 338 Lapua Mag. That is because the 338 and 300 Norma Mags are both based on the 338 Lapua Mag case shortened and or necked to fit the 30 cal.

2020年4月17日 · I bought an AIAX, 338 norma USA reamer, and barrel and sent them off unfired to a smith for rebarrel. When it came back i pulled the 338 lapua barrel and sold it here unfired. It hammers. I can load 300 berger otms outside the neck/shoulder junction and magazine feed them at 2846fps from a 29" barrel.

The load is 81gr N570, 230gr Berger 215M, 2950 fps. Gun is a laser to 900-1000 yards. Turns into a crapshoot at 1350 & 1450 yards, the farthest we've shot it.

2013年10月4日 · The norma is much more reliable and repeatable than the 338 lapua.The norma is 100 fps slower than the lapua in 250 and 300 g bullets.High bc bullets need the velocity to gain the full benefit of the bc. In my opinion 300g is too much for the norma or the lapua.The 250 scenar proved most accurate in the lapua, norma and my cartridge.

2017年8月8日 · I think once you get into the 338 improved cartridges then it being a norma or lapua to start with stops making much of a difference. There are at least a dozen versions out there that essentially achieve the same thing.
