2021年11月30日 · I installed a genuine balance and bridge in a VS3135 a few days ago and it runs perfectly. No VR or any other clone movements that I know of (except 4130) can accept genuine rolex balance. This indicates that the movement is the closest one to gen 3135. However, the gen balance did not work on another VS3135 I have and I can't explain why.

2022年4月14日 · What movement tabs did you end up using for the 3135 in 2824 case? Will 3135 movement tabs work or do I need a different kind? Also do you know the specs of the nylon gasket you used? I'm looking at an 30(diameter)x0.85(height)x0.5(thick)mm gasket to hopefully avoid/minimize sanding. I saw most gaskets are 1.2mm in height or something like that.

2021年11月7日 · VS movements sport a couple of extra jewels the VR movements lack, including cap jewels and springs on the escape wheel as per gen 3135. VS3135s take all gen parts according to experts, including a gen balance. VRs do not take a gen balance but will take other gen parts. In theory a near-gen movement could be built using VS as a base.

2019年1月19日 · The movement is inserted and turned and then the screws are loosened so that the press against the inside of the case and hold the movement. normally they just use tabs/screws to hold it down. The VR3135 (bottom right) finish is MUCH better than the SH (bottom left) but not quite a good as gen (top)

2017年6月11日 · The 3135 movement, regardless of origin, is less readily servicable, and more expensive to service if you find someone who can work on it. The 3135 is a copy of the Rolex movement, and therefore the case is closer to the real deal. To some the difference is dramatic - for the other 98% is is not noticable.
