2024年7月26日 · I ended up taking the gun to Cole’s and getting it re-balanced so that it works with either barrel. Not a very expensive job (about $300) but definitely necessary if the balance isn’t where you want it to be on either barrel. I probably could have done it myself but brand new gun and I’d rather spend a weekend shooting than working on it.

Serial number information is incomplete but it is believed numbers go into the 90,000 range. I have serial number 56,980 and 76,013 both in 12 gauge. The gun cost $10 new. The gun was made in numerous gauges, barrel lengths and chamber lengths.

2024年3月12日 · You are missing a very important third party in the multi-barrel sets. Winchester diamond grade 4-barrel sets were far more famous than Brownings or SKBs. Winchester skeet sets with 26-1/2" and 28-inch barrels is the company everyone copied, that includes Classic Doubles of which I favor over the others.

2013年1月17日 · I recently inherited a double barrel Stevens Model 311A 20 Gauge, chamber for 3" shells; no serial number but with the letters K A on the right side of barrel hinge. The gun and stock are in excellent condition. I am guessing the gun to have been manufactured around 1958. Is this accurate? And can anyone give me an approximate current value? Thanks

After World War 2, he located in Munnerstadt, West Germany.The 3 barrel shotgun is a little uncommon, although not unheard of. Are you sure the bottom barrel is not a rifle calibre.That would be more common. For some time.
