2020年11月13日 · Dear all. I have most common question here. I have system 3 phase 4 wire system. Assume i have connected Rphase/Yphase /B phase neutral wire connected separated with 230VAC supply. VL = √3 VPH for Line to line calculation and if i measure line to neutral it should show 230VAC Suppose i have...

2010年6月21日 · The power Co. can get away with running 2 primary phases to a 3 phase location, use 2 pots and hook them up in an open delta config. Saves them 1 phase primary to an out of the way agricultural irrigation pump and they only have to size the power pot for the pump load, usually 1/2 of the lighting pot.

(a) Means of Identification.
High Leg on a 3 phase 120/240 4 wire delta system
2010年2月13日 · Sure. That's what you have. 120/240 3 phase as opposed to 120/208 3 phase where all legs are 120V Although, IMO, it's not a great idea, you can connect any 240 load using the high/wild/bastard/stinger leg, even single phase, and it will work properly because you have 240V between any of the two phases.
240v 3 phase corner grounded delta (b phase) HELP!
2020年10月2日 · Basic cheap plug-in breakers are “slash” rated, meaning 240/120V; they are rated 240V phase to phase, but 120V phase to ground. On a 240V 3 phase grounded delta system, the voltage to ground is 240V from 2 of the poles. So all of the breakers you need to use on there must be “straight 240V” rated, no slash in the rating.
Is a neutral considered a Current Carrying Conductor...
2022年9月17日 · In a 3-wire circuit consisting of tho phase conductors and the neutral conductor of a 4-wire, 3-phase, wye-connected system, a common conductor carries approximately the same current as the line-to-neutral load currents of the other conductors a nd shall be counted w hen applying the provisions of 310.15(C)(1).
