2017年5月5日 · If length is the only concern, there is a plethora of 28mm lenses in M42 mount with a flange to filter ring distance of ~38mm (the same as the ST 28/3.5). Both my Tamron 28/2.5 (02B) and Vivitar 28/2.8 CF** dial in at that length.

2024年4月12日 · This lens also is quite a bit larger than the tiny Takumar 28mm f/3.5, and takes much larger filters -- but this is an f/2.5. It is capable of very good IQ, yields comparable (if slightly inferior) sharpness as compared to my Takumar 28mm f/3.5 -- with as good build quality.

2023年12月20日 · I bought this lens because i was interested in 28mm manual lens. Lens are well build,no cheap plastic like todays many new lenses. Wonderful bokeh and color rendering. Only complain is that i have problem with infinity focusing. Landscape shots are soft even at f8 or higher. I tried it with tripod and live view, same results.

2024年12月13日 · The perfect standard focal length for APS-C, the 28mm f/2.8 makes for an excellent walkaround lens, for street, landscape or woodland photography. Sharp wide open, with only slight purple fringing, the sharpness gets even better of course when stopping down.

2024年9月3日 · This was my first Pentax lens and first 28mm lens. I bought it from eBay in what was described as 'as new' condition. It has proved to be that way. No marks at all on the lens, it came with front and rear caps and the original leather carry case. It is genuinely pristine. This lens suits the lightness and size of the Sony body well.

Later ones have a plastic ring and a diagonal pattern - these are more difficult to open up to clean. 52mm filter Aperture f2.8 - f22, half stop clicks; iris: 6 blades.

2023年3月31日 · The lens is huge compared to any other legacy 28mm lens I've used, even the two Vivitar 28mm f/2 lenses, and very heavy. This makes any setup, regardless of camera, quite front-heavy. The build is extremely solid and feels extremely dense and the focus ring is nice and smooth but with a little too much resistance (but still nice to use).

2024年3月4日 · The only redeeming feature is that there is very little edge deformation/bending; rare for a 28mm lens this old. If I had to rate it at "best" for overall performance it would be 5/10. I dismantled it to check it out. It comes with a sealed internal lens section (like a Helios 58mm F2) but this Takumar is crazy difficult to get into.

2013年3月15日 · Evening, There are a lot of 28mm lenses, as it was the film's wide angle lens. Gofour3 suggested the K 28/2 which is a wonderful lens that has the same optical design as the famous Zeiss 28/2 Distagon (Pentax acquired it from Zeiss).
