The 24-cell is not only the 24-octahedral-cell, it is also the 24-cubical-cell, although the cubes are cells of the three 8-cells, not cells of the 24-cell, in which they are not volumetrically disjoint. The 24-cell can be constructed from 24 cubes of its own edge length (three 8-cells).
