2012年6月5日 · I have a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 4.0. I just bought the truck and my problem is when I give the truck a gas there's a thump. Feels like the tranny. It's worse when I hit 45-50+. If I let off the gas and accelerate gradually, I can still drive the truck. I changed the tranny filter, and added Lucas stop slip. It helped a little.

Whenever I get into the truck, start it up, and start to coast down the driveway, the brakes lock up on the front wheels when I apply only a slight amount of pressure to the pedal.
