2012年2月4日 · The rest 60 or so hp is due to the camshaft. The biggest increase of the camshaft is the lift. 10.9mm vs 9.35mm 3mz and 7.85mm 1mz. The duration is 248 vs 240 3mz vs 236 1mz vvti vs 228 1mz. The 8 degrees should give a power peak of 400 to 500 rpm over a 3mz cam. The 2gr cam specs are a big deal versus the lowly 1mz/3mz specs.

2003年5月10日 · Through my engine builder's and my evaluations on the 1MZ-FE block, we think that the sleeves on the 1MZ-FE block are actually pretty strong. It has a closed deck design and has thick sleeves (at stock bore) that are plenty for making great power. The 1MZ-FE also has a very friendly rod-to-stroke ratio which results in a slow piston speed.

2007年1月10日 · The turbine flow maps for the 0.86 a/r T2 housing can easily support the flow, but a common thing to do is upgrade to an ATP T3 drop-in housing and that turbo would work really well with the 1MZ. I can't even stop imagining the insane spool AND response if I slap on a GT28RS with a 0.82 a/r turbine housing...

Suddenly after a oil change, the engine started to act funny. It was running very rich and ceased. The motor came from a 1999 Lexus with factory ECU.

2017年6月29日 · First, I've always found the fuel economy in my VVTi 1MZ cars (two ES300's, and especially an occasionally-driven Sienna) to be disappointing: about 21 MPG in the ES's, and 18-20 in the Sienna. By comparison, I managed 21-23 in a contemporary DeVille driving the same routes (4.6L V8, so over 50% increase in displacement).
