2006年2月5日 · My father is in England , i've brough an XJ6 , he has gone to collect it , the battery was dead ,but it sorted of tried to start , he got a new one , it turns over but there is no spark , seems to be an immobilising system , it's an XJ 6 6cyl 3.6L , 1987 here is the link

2020年3月23日 · As a matter of fact it was even worst - pre-1987 AJ6 was a bonking disaster due to obsolete ECU mixed with high-tech engine design. More troublemaking than Jaguar's steam engine (also known as V12). This was rectified after 1987 with addition of MAF/CPS sensors. This was later on completely trashed with addition of catalytic converter.

2022年2月12日 · hi Jaguar enthusiasts I have tested a nice controller amplifier for the Delanair MKII HVAC found in in 1974-1987 XJS , XJ6 and XJ12. The modules that I have used before where copies from the original OEM with analog components and mechanical relays so in the past 6 years 2 replacement modules have failed (yes expensive and not reliable).
