Based on the results that were available in the Geekbench 6 database as of writing, higher-end iMac configurations with the 10-core M4 chip achieved an average score of 14,512 for multi-core CPU performance, compared to an average of 11,711 for the previous iMac with the highest-end 8-core M3 chip.

2007年8月16日 · Noticed you have a M2 Pro Mac Mini in your signature. Pro M4 modal comes with standard 24GB AND thunderbolt 5 ports for additional 400 dollars but modal choice depends entirely on your workflow. 200 dollars for RAM upgrade ONLY additional 8 GB RAM you will not see a major difference.

2008年10月27日 · The RAM isn’t upgradeable in the iMac and I was just trying to future proof the machine for as long as possible since we tend to keep our computers for a while. The new base memory increase tells me the extra 8 GB is needed for their Apple Intelligence so I wasn’t sure a few years down the line how memory intensive that is going to become.

2022年11月8日 · A second hand iMac 27" 2015 (5k display) core i5 16GB DDR4 256 GB SSD is VND 11mllion, about 470USD. There is no reason why I should buy a Juicy Crumb kit at similar cost and struggle with assembling only to have an LCD, while I can buy a fully working iMac. A working 27" 2K display (2nd hand) HP Z27n would cost me VND 4mil to buy (USD170).

2019年4月18日 · hi not solved yet. i messaged apple and they said i had to contact another department. i spent an hour talking to apple via chat, they said i would have to contact tech. i am going write to the CEO at apple and get this escalated . if you buy an iMac and it turns pink after just 3 years, its not fit for purpose. they cannot charge me for the repair, its a faulty unit.
