2023年6月1日 · You may have a hard time finding a replacement neck for a Starcaster. Warmoth makes a "Mooncaster" neck that at first glance looks like it would work....but it will not. It only works with Warmoth's Mooncaster body.

2021年2月26日 · Real Starcaster necks are unique within the Fender line and not interchangeable with Strat, Tele or Jazzmaster necks in spite of also being 25.5" scale. Is it the neck pocket size, or the angle - how are they different? I'm seeing some of those early necks (2000-2004) that look good - real rosewood, nice figured maple...

2021年12月10日 · IIRC Starcaster necks are 22 frets with no overhang. So a Starcaster won't usually take a neck designed for a strat (which are almost all 21 frets, or 22 frets with overhang). I wonder if the neck pocket dimensions and saddle to neck pocket length on the Squier Starcaster is the same as a Strat.

Squier Starcaster neck, it’s in good shape. Fits a Strat style neck pocket so anything with that and the same scale length (Strats, Jazzmasters, etc) is good to go. Previous owner swapped the tuning machine heads to whatever these are.

We make Strat™ and Tele™ style necks. They are 25.5″ scale and 22 frets long, meaning they have a 22nd fret overhang. Most everyone makes neck pockets that are 5/8″ or .625″ deep except Fender. They have made them in various depths and current Strats are not .625″ deep. They typically run about .680 to .690.
