After researching SST, I decided to transfer my loan to Discover (have to pay a slightly higher APR but have peace of mind knowing that Discover is legit and competent.) Got approved on 12/11 and on 12/12, Discover sent the funds to SST ELECTRONICALLY. Followed up with SST on 12/12 and also 12/14 to make sure they received the funds. They didn't.

2024年5月19日 · I gave SST a call and they said to email a few screenshots of the double charge to one of their customer service emails and they will get it reversed in no time. I did that and a few days later I got the refund to my bank account. I was excited to finally get the loan paid off and have that much more freed up per month.

2022年10月14日 · Theres an online credit union called Consumer Credit Union (CCU). Initially I got my loan through Toyota at like 2.5% or something with Credit Score around same as yours. After a year of regular payments CCU refinanced my loan at 1.93% as long as the money is withdrawn from their credit union account. I just transfer it there every month.

Before the switch I was on time with my payments, but got behind due to a lack of understanding, and not trusting the new company. However, because I’m trying to clean up my credit, I decided to pay the loan off.

I paid off the savings loan on March 5. Received notification on the account summary page on March 19th that my money was available for transfer. I then initiated the transfer to my checking account. 2023年7月19日 · The best loan is one that has the lowest interest rate. Don't finance a car for longer than 3 years (especially a used car). If you need to finance longer than 3 years in order to afford the monthly payments then the car is too expensive for you. A 40k used car is sort of crazy in my opinion. You can go buy a brand new Toyota for ~28-35k easy.
