2022年11月20日 · No experience with the new Rapala R12, but can attest the new Bubba Brushless Pro is 20,000 times better than my original Rapala Lithium Ion. My only complaint is the handle is a bit big. I would hope the R12 is much improved over their first lithium version. All of this X2. I just switched this summer from the Rapala Lithium Ion to the Bubba.

2016年11月29日 · I loved the versatility (in theory) of being able to plug into a 12v adapter, clamp to car battery, etc, but it is so SLOW. The Mister Twister and original rapala corded models were great. Cycled fast and cut very well. I prefer the pointed blades on the Rapala models compared to the Mister Twister however. My current go-to is the Rapala cordless.

2021年1月22日 · There’s a recall on the Papala Ion Cordless fillet knife due to an issue with the battery. Evidently some of them have started fires. If you contact them they will replace the battery at no cost

2010年1月2日 · I received a Rapala cordless fillet knife for a gift. I was thinking about exchanging it for the Deluxe one. The one I received has a internal battery that says it will last appx. 25 minutes per charge. It came with both a 110 and auto charger plug in. The deluxe kit has 2 battery packs that say they will last appx. 30 minutes each.

2013年4月12日 · Also the button that releases the blades on the rapala is on top right where you put your thumb while using it some complained of the blades releasing on them . The price of the Mister Twister also is close to half the price of others from what I found. I am going with Mister Twister. After all it is the #1 rated electric fillet knife.

2019年6月23日 · I’ve used a lot of fillet knives and cut a lot of fish up. Mostly panfish. Over the years I’ve tried a lot of different knives. Rapala, amazon, wustohf, bubba blade, buck knife etc. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m more efficient with 2 different blades. When I cut the fillet off the fish, I tend to use my bubba blade most often.

2022年2月7日 · I have the Bubba and absolutely love it. Had the Rapala years ago and felt like it lacked power. I actually preferred the cheapo WalMart electric knives to the Rapala. All that said, I don't clean a double limit very often. But for what I catch the Bubba is great. Haven't noticed any heating or other issues.

2022年2月17日 · I got the chance to put both a Rapala R12 HD and the Bubba top cordless knife to walleyes this week. They are both pretty impressive. The R12HD was the clear winner for me with the ceramic blades and long lasting battery. I cleaned 6 16-18” eyes with each knife. After 6 fish from start to finish the R12HD still showed 4/4 bars on the battery ...

2019年12月28日 · I bought the Rapala one for a Canada fly in a few years back and it was a donkey on bigger fish. Switched to the Bubba and it wasn’t much better. Went back to the Mister Twister and never looked back. In all honesty I still like using a regular fillet knife best.
