2020年1月15日 · With my first pregnancy, I was induced at 37 weeks due to hypertension because the placenta was calcified and I was showing signs of preeclampsia, (very swollen legs and feet, pitting in feet), in addition to consistent BP readings of 140s/80s.

2021年1月16日 · I had gestational hypertension with my first child, I was taken off work at around 36 weeks bc my job was insanely stressful. I was put on partial bedrest and told to lie on my left side. It helped and I was able to deliver him at 40 weeks. My next child was a perfect pregnancy.

2022年1月24日 · I had that with my last pregnancy- it took a bit longer for my blood pressures to get that high but my understanding is they want to prevent it from turning into pre-eclampsia which is why they would go ahead and induce you a little early. I was induced at 39 weeks when my blood pressure hit 140/100 at my check up appointment.

2023年11月3日 · Yes induced at 37 weeks for gestational hypertension that quickly turned into postpartum preeclampsia. Induction went smoothly and baby was healthy with no nicu needed. The preeclampsia aftermath though sucked.

4 天之前 · I had GH my last pregnancy (started having BP spikes at 27 weeks and was officially diagnosed and went on meds by 35 weeks). I was planning on working until the 40 week mark but I stopped at 37 weeks because I was induced at 38. Also I was having to go for so much extra monitoring that it became a logistical nightmare.

2022年2月5日 · I had gestational hypertension with my first (now on baby aspirin and hoping to avoid it with this pregnancy!) I met with MFM every 4 weeks since it wasn't preeclampsia, had bloodwork every 2 weeks, weekly NSTs, and growth scans monthly to make sure everything was on track. I also did 2 of the 24 hour urine collections.

2021年11月27日 · I was induced at 38+4 with my son due to hypertension, so I’m not sure if/when he would’ve come out on his own. We have our induction scheduled for our daughter at 39+2 but I’m REALLY hoping she’ll decide to come out on her own before then. I just wanted to know what other mother’s experiences where who had their first born induced.

2025年1月22日 · Pregnant with my 3rd. Had a sweep with my first at 37w5d and my water broke the next morning but never really had contractions. Was induced with my 2nd due to hypertension. Just had a sweep yesterday at 2pm at 38w. Have had cramping, low back pain, lots of spotting/mucous plug/bloody show last night.
