2021年9月22日 · Hey guys, we have a Planar Diesel heater aboard our Roughwater 33, it's probably less than 2 years old, installed by the previous owner. For the most part it has seemed to work great, pump out decent Problem with Planar forced air heater.

Purchased a Planar heater kit - model Binar 5S diesel fueled from UK agent in September 2017 for £635 delivered. The kit was very complete other than the exhaust skin fitting. Was impressed with the quality and it worked straight away after fitting.

Kind of pricey, $225, and you need a Sim card for it but it sure is convenient .It also requires the correct thermostat which is a newer thermostat than what was shipped with my unit.

2017年12月20日 · Bought a Planar diesel heater for our 38' Trimaran here in Bellingham Wa. It came from a Vancouver Canada dealer three years ago and we had it professionally installed. The heater has worked well but the digital controls are a bit hard to get used to. Over all a good value. Good luck , Dan

2023年4月30日 · The little pumps they use create tiny air bubbles. If it is below the heater they will rise and are not enough to be a problem. If they are above then they will collect until enough of them are up there and you have air instead of fuel. Mount the pump below the heater at a 45 degree angle with the output to the heater being on the uphill side.
