2023年12月17日 · The 5687 is a really well made winch. Belleview was a machine shop. They designed and built it for Warn. Machinists designed the 5687. When Warn absorbed Belleview their #1 priority was lowering the cost to manufacture the winch and add some features. The 5687 became the 6014 and then the 8200. The 8200 is functionally the same as the 8274.

2009年1月17日 · 8274, the metal controller connector helps date it. There is also a date code that can be read to help. If you end up repairing it, I highly recommend using Scott Thompson at Montana Jack's Outpost, who is Warn authorized service center. Scott has been incredibly helpful with my winch rebuilds and is very knowledgeable about 8274s.

2018年7月17日 · The 10k pulls almost 80 less amps at that winch's maximum pull ( 8k ). For a bit more the Zeon 12 pulls 160 fewer amps at 8000. You can trash a battery very quickly with a winch. A good winch should last 20 years. Question is how many batteries will you go through. I did 21 pulls, at the first snowfall on the mountain near the shop, in one day.

2017年11月17日 · Here is an old brochure that shows that winch as a dealer option. Doesn’t look like you have the bumper - I was lucky when I bought mine it had the correct bumper too (as pictured). Dig around my thread you can see my refurb on the winch. You will likely need to get new control cables for it as the housings look shot just like mine did.

2005年10月28日 · if you can get it at a good price buy it, i had one of there 8000lb worm gear winches for over 15 years and loved it and the guy i sold the rig to is still useing it (10years later). they are one tuff winch, yes they have slow line speed but they draw lower amps then the warns and if you putt them against eachother it would pull the warn apart because of the worm gear design. look at tow ...
