Lito Arkangel was born and raised in the small plantation town of Kea`au (Ola’a) on the Big Island of Hawai`i and has worked his way from backyard Hawaiian jam sessions to being rightfully known as one of Hawai`i’s best falsetto singers.

Before we begin, let’s get one thing straight: Lito Arkangel is kolohe. He’s not just the literal English translation of the word, “rascal.” There is something much deeper to the spirit of this 40-year-old trickster-turned-musician/teacher. He’s much more pono (positive) than pilau (rotten).
