2024年11月21日 · The ice joys look like a comparable glove for half the price too! And they look like they will not dye your hands black for the first 100 days of use either! I can't imagine the Ice Joy being good for skiing. They seem to do ok while climbing but I'm generally not sweating nearly as much while climbing as I am while ski touring.

If you're going alpine climbing, ie: technical roped ascent on grades that include alpine ice (AI), water ice (WI), alpine rock or mixed routes (M-) you will want several pairs of thin, but insulated gloves for active climbing.

Top roped my first time ice climbing WI3. 2nd time climbing ice 2 weeks later, Led WI4. 225' 2 pitch with maybe 3 solid screw placements throughout due to mostly chandelier ice. Amga instructor could back this claim up. Check ur head game. What I take away from MP: some of us were born to climb..some of us were born and climb. lol
