Fresh Pond Golf Course, officially the Thomas P. O’Neill, Jr. Municipal Golf Course, is a challenging 9-hole course located in West Cambridge. The 3,000-yard course runs adjacent to Fresh Pond Reservation, offering beautiful views of the 155-acre Fresh Pond Reservoir.

*Fresh Pond Golf Course typically closes in mid-December and opens in mid-March, depending on weather and course conditions. Please check our homepage for the latest information. During winter months, the course remains open for the community to enjoy walking, bird watching, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and more passive recreation activities.

Fresh Pond Golf Course is excited to announce that season passes for the 2025 season will go on sale in March. Cambridge resident passes will go on sale the week of March 3rd. Non-resident passes will go on sale the week of March 10th.

The Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) High School Golf Team completed their 2024 season in mid-October. The league is open to Boys and Girls in 9th – 12th grade and competes in the Dual County League (DCL). This fall, Fresh Pond Golf Course was excited to introduce PGA HOPE Cambridge. PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America.
