The Zoo is open 365 days a year and Wednesdays are half-price admission. The Zoo accepts cash and credit cards. We want your visit to the Fort Worth Zoo to be enjoyable! During the school year, many children take part in our education programs. Most schools visit in the morning and typically depart after lunch.

The African Savanna sits on 10 acres of Forth Worth Zoo land and is home to an indoor/outdoor hippo exhibit, a giraffe feeding deck, restaurants, shading viewing areas, and more.
