2024年6月13日 · My issue has been going on for a few years now (at least 3!) and I just give up because I spend an hour or more on the phone/chat each time and nothing changes. One day we changed our service package and from then on the caller ID only reflects "unknown user", but if I log into my account online I can see the history of who has called.

2022年6月20日 · Total frustration. I have an iphone 13 pro. I went to find caller id toggle on or off in setting>phone>calls. Nothing showed up. The agent said that Apple removed caller id on their phones, and that while names appear when receiving a call (if in my contacts), I no longer have the ability to show my name on the other end of the call.

2022年5月16日 · Normally, it would say Wireless caller and my correct number or the name of my company and correct number, but normally just wireless caller. In the past month, when I call home, it uses my name from a previous marriage. I have called the call center, told I was being bumped up to a higher tech level, but the wrong caller ID name persists.

2024年8月8日 · I had to upgrade my modem to XB7 to get the 800 mbs internet. I have ultimate tv, voice and internet. Before I set up my new modem the caller ID on tv displayed perfectly. After the new modem it does not display. I have turned everything off and on. I also had a chat and new signals were sent, still no caller ID.

2024年8月9日 · Since then the Caller ID on the TV hasn't worked. Caller ID works fine on the phone. I've rebooted the modem/router. Rebooted both of our cable boxes. Even did a system refresh from the Xfinity website and restarted the modem/router from Xfinity website. Caller ID is still not showing on either TV. It was working right before we did the upgrade.

As long as you have Xfinity Voice service and are using the input display that has an X1 cable box connected to your television and the proper level of service, there should be no issues finding out what the cause of it missing from your TV is.
