2022年12月29日 · Anyone form .204 Brass from Lapua .222 or .223? The .204 Ruger does not come in Lapua Brass. I have heard of necking up .223 to 6mm and then back down to .204 Maybe just stick with Hornady Brass. Have Nosler Custom, but they want about $1.30 per case. Man First it was Primers skyrocketing prices, then Powder , now Brass.

2017年1月29日 · The primary reason the 20P exists is that 223 brass is more readily available and cheaper than 204 Ruger brass. I get 8 to 10 reloads w my brass. I use Hornady 204 Ruger brass and sometimes it's hard to come by. Reloading dies are slightly more expensive for the 20P, but if you already have lots of 223 brass the 20P is more economical.

2021年6月24日 · There are several loads that are very accurate in my SAKO 85, 204 Ruger using IMR 8208 and CFE 223. I prefer to use CFE 223 to reduce fouling. I posted my loads below. 2019年3月28日 · I no longer use Hornady brass. If you have the need to put a new barrel on your action, I would recommend getting at least a 1 in 11 twist or faster so you are able to stabilize the heavier bullets. Two of my .204 Rugers liked the 40 gr. V-Max and 40 gr. Nosler BT and one of them wouldn't shoot those two bullets worth a hoot.

2016年1月17日 · What is your experience with Fiochi vs Hornady 204 ammo. And 40gr vs 32gr bullets? I currently have 3 204's and have been reloading with Winchester brass, Rem 7 1/2 primers and W748....shooting 32gr Vmax! My original Winchester brass came from 1500 rounds factory ammo and now after over 8 reloading the brass is done.
