2016年8月11日 · If you look near the brake booster underneath the removable black plastic cover that has two screw pins, you will be able to find this connector. Unplug the probe side of the connector and store for later use or discard. Place the 2.2K Ohm resistor into the remaining side of the connector like the picture shown.

2001年6月12日 · Since you disconnected the EGT probe, the ECU will recognize that it is not getting a direct signal to the EGT probe, and will cause a CEL. That is why the 2.2k ohm resistor is placed in the remaining section of the connector. It gives the ECU a false reading that the EGT probe is doing its job. This will make it so it will not display a CEL.

2005年12月17日 · dont get the cheep ones because they are only 1/4 watt(I think) and they will burn up, i used 1/2 watt 2.2k ohm and no problems, they are like 1$ more for the higher wattage. luke I just don't get this drifting thing, why would I spend money to put a car in the wall for a bunch of stupid 16 year olds with dreams of fast and Furious?

2003年4月11日 · I should say though that the light stayed out for a longer period of time when I used 1/2W 2.2KOhm resistors with a 5% varience, as opposed to 1/2W 2.2k ohm resistors with a 10% varience... Not sure if that means anything.... I only get a pop ocassionally when I shift at around 3000 rpms from the exhaust.

2010年2月5日 · Remove the EGT probe and block the hole with a oil pan bolt. Install 2.2K ohm resistor in wiring harness plug for EGT probe. "My uppipe has an EGT bung, should I plug it or reinstall the stock EGT sensor? There is a chance down the road that EGT probe could burn up and pieces of it could be ingested by the turbo. Plugging it is the best option.

2005年8月3日 · first off, if you have an STI, you don't have a cat in your uppipe to start with. if you're in a WRX, afteruppipe cat removal. you'll need to plug a 2.2K ohm resistor into the EGT plug that connected to your stock uppipe. (and this is in the wrong forum )
