Lynch, verstokt kettingroker, werd 78 jaar. In Eye Classics zijn nu een aantal films van de sympathieke Meester van het Macabere te zien.

Over Nuri Bilge Ceylan. Ceylan heeft vele filmprijzen gewonnen, waaronder de Gouden Palm op het filmfestival van Cannes voor Winter Sleep (2014) en meerdere grote juryprijzen. Eye Filmmuseum presents the first Dutch exhibition devoted to the work of acclaimed Turkish filmmaker and photographer Nuri Bilge Ceylan. For this occasion, the museum is bringing together his prize-winning films and lesser-known landscape photographs for the very first time.

Feministisch Filmkollektief (Feminist Film Collective) Cinemien was founded fifty years ago, at the height of second-wave feminism. At that time, activist women’s groups sprung up in many cities, striving to change the portrayal of women in films by showing films by and for women.
