I’m thinking of maybe trading a new-to-me PSA w/Magpul Zhukov furniture for a nice looking WASR with that old world worn down look to it. The PSA is a prom queen, but the WASR just has that old school AKM look that’s a beauty all its own.

2019年2月1日 · If I see a WASR 10/63 in a pawn shop or gun store I will generally buy it. Most of the time they are under $400.00 when I find them and I always haggle the price down a little. The 10/63s are built on military parts kits and have the CHF chrome lined barrels and forged trunions. The WASR 10 new production guns have cast trunions.

2016年5月5日 · You haven't found much on the WASR-2 as not many were imported. I don't know the actual numbers, and Century has a habit of not cooperating when trying to find import numbers, but my guess is it is among the most rare of any rifle imported from Romania with the possible exception of the .223 WASR-3.

2016年3月27日 · The earlier WASR rifles had some issues with the magazine wells being opened up too much by Century Arms, and this is what contributed to their earlier reputation of being "cheap junk." I ended up buying a used SAR-1 in the spring of 2007, as I wanted to avoid any potential magazine well issues with the WASR series.

2015年4月1日 · The WASR-10/63 rifles were made from surplus, demilled rifles AKA parts kits. The 10/63 has the bayo lugs, threaded barrel, and non thumbhole stock. The newer 10/63 rifles are built on new parts.

2019年10月18日 · WASR-3 rifles were imported as single stack, then the mag well was opened up to double stack by a US company - Century or their contractor. I have a WASR-3 someone actually GAVE me because it had issues. They got heavy handed in trying to change the gas piston. A hammer was involved. Note my sig line. The mag well was offset when cut.
