2016年8月12日 · I'd go for a vs (the newer the better). The best vs in terms of the 5L would be the series 3 statesman with the roller cam. I think you'd be better off buying a vx ls1 over the vt (better fuel economy, more peak power etc)

2010年10月21日 · i spent over 7k converting my vt show car from a v6 to a brand new 5ltr running gear. it was in the car for 4 months before i pulled it off the road to go LS1.. 5ltr's are slugs and the vt body is pretty heavy. vt 5ltr = most powerful 5.0 holden produced vt body = heaviest body holden made combined = an absolute slug and a vs 5ltr will mash it.

I have an auto elec prepared to wire it all up but just wondering whats the difference between a standard VT motor and the HSV 195i/220i? Also what performance figures should i be looking at with an exhaust, intake and tune on the VT motor?

Im currently fitting a VT 5L into a Rangie, its time to hook up the temp sender for the guage in the dash. I can find where the Engine temp control sensor is on the front on the intake manifold, but where does the temp sender go?
