Bran-Son, whose real name is Brandon, is a minor character in The Pirate's Curse. He is a hero that claims to be "The Most Capable Man In The Galaxy" and wields an Enchanted Blade that grants him "The Advantage" when he holds it erect and says the mystical words: "Hey guys, we should go get matching purses!

Shantae is the title character and main protagonist of the Shantae video game series developed and published by WayForward Technologies. She was created by Erin Bozon, wife of Matt Bozon, WayForward's creative director. She has been voiced by Cristina Vee since 2014's Shantae and the Pirate's Curse.
