2023年9月22日 · I have some old swf (shockwave flash) files with actionscript 3 in them. I know of websites that also host other files such as games. I know flash was discontinued a year or two back, but I have Ruffle extension on my chrome browser, and when loading a website this manages to run the embedded flash files fine.

If there are more than 1 swf files in the folder, it will default to the last one (e.g. if you have filename1.0.swf and filename2.0.swf, it will default to filename2.0.swf) Alternatively to target a specific swf file, you can enter the filename (or complete path to file) as an argument for the script and it will use that instead.

I open the SWF file using the flash player, and from the flash player I can print the file to PDF. I wonder if that is possible to repeat the process for a folder of SWF files. During the "print" process, the PDF printer asks for a file name, which I want to use the file name from the SWF file. I hope this can be automated as well. Thanks!

If I had to do it, I would use SWF to FLA decompiler, open the file in Adobe Flash and try to somehow export it from Flash. The downside is, you need (1) the decompiler, which is not (legally) for free, and (2) the same applies for Adobe Flash.
