2015年4月3日 · If it's all about lasting then clearly you would be very unlucky if 8x£499 sofas didn't last as long or longer than a G-Plan but you seem to be not acknowledging what elase you get with a more expensive sofa, things like style, better filling giving more comfort, quality of material and yes longevity. If you can afford a G-Plan just get it.

2024年3月4日 · We bought our leather sofas from SCS in November 2019. A month or so ago we noticed some little holes had appeared in one of the seat pads so because we had paid for a warranty with the Castelan Group when buying the sofas we made a claim with them for accidental damage.

2024年5月12日 · SCS say I have to accept a repair because I have had it more than 30 days so I requested a copy of the inspection report which clearly states there is a manufacturing fault. I took this to show that the sofa delivered is not fit for purpose (which it isnt) and have tried both SCS and Nationwide to get my money back and both are refusing.

2023年9月13日 · So we bought a corner sofa from SCS recently and it was due to be delivered today. We have a standard sized porch door and a standard sized front door and between myself and the better half we managed to extract out our heavy (very heavy) 2 and 3 seater recliners recently as well as get other sofas through the same doors over the last decade.

2018年2月10日 · We purchased 2 x 3 Seater Marinda sofas from SCS back in September/October 2016 from the Southampton, Hedge End store. At the time we purchased an extra warranty costing £300 for cleaning/repairs of said sofas through the Castelan Group.

2009年5月14日 · I still have to wait for the upholsterer to check the second fault, and (i assume) order another cushion, which, according to SCS, will take 8-10 weeks. I also received a letter from Head Office today, acknowledging that I wish to reject the sofa and receive a replacement.

2007年5月6日 · My sister bought some sofas for her house in December from SCS, which she hasn't taken delivery of yet as her house is not ready until July. At the time of purchase, the sales person guaranteed the price would not drop and put a price guarantee on the suite. The credit agreement was signed on a 2 year interest free period.

2008年5月21日 · Hi all, I ordered sofas (one 2 seater, one 3 seater) from SCS all the way back in March. I live in a townhouse so with stairs that go around the corner and explained the situation to the salesman at SCS and he said "I live in the same sort of property and I could fit my even bigger sofas up with no problems".
